Mission Objective

A consignment of oil field equipment and tools landed in the UAE on its way to be transshipped to its final destination.

The challenges we faced:

• The packaging was damaged leading to the shipment being deemed “not air-worthy” and being offloaded at a UAE airport
• The client approached Peeraj in a dire attempt to have the consignment repacked and shipped to its final destination
• The time frame available to us for action & resolution was very small

Steps taken:

• While the request did not fall directly within our scope, special approvals were taken to access the airside to expedite the repackaging process
• We got the consignment repacked at the airport, liaised with the airline to ensure airworthiness and sent the consignment on the next available flight

Our wins:

• This assignment, albeit a small one, was done for one of the largest drilling companies globally. Being entrusted with a last-minute critical requirement was truly an opportunity to showcase Peeraj’s capabilities and willingness to go above & beyond in attaining customer satisfaction
